All for the love of CHERRY PIE!

Okay so I don't know what happened to my old Snickerdoodleville posts! They magically disappeared from my site! So it looks like I'm starting over!

Anyway, this is probably going to be the worst, most boring post ever, but I really have to say this! hahaha!!

I have been craving Cherry Pie for about 4 days now! Imagine my surprise when Thanksgiving dinner provided pumpkin, pecan, and apple pies... along with two delicious variations of cheesecake, but NO CHERRY PIE! That man of mine and I volunteered to serve dinner at a nursing home in Walnut Hills early Thanksgiving so I had no time to make my own pie :( Now it's Saturday and I'm having a serious fit about my lack of cherry pie! So after a few disappointing attempts to score some cherry pie (Frisch's is the only place that had cherry pie "in season" but was "no sugar added" BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I decided to make my own. It's been a pretty lazy day around here today so I got on it! It smelled so yummy and my hubby decided I couldnt have warm cherry pie without a nice big dollop (or 2) of vanilla ice cream... so yet another trip out to get Mayfield's vanilla ice cream *formerly Trauth* and it was all he promised it would be... YUMMY GOODNESS! And I only managed to eat 2 pieces (which means 4 dollops of ice cream!)

Okay so did I say "cherry pie" enough in this post? Can you tell I was having a serious craving?
